Shedden makes session despite fire

British Touring Car title contender Gordon Shedden will start Saturday afternoon's qualifying session at Snetterton despite a fire in free practice. Shedden was second fastest in free practice one with his works Honda Civic when he came into the pitlane with his car on fire. An aluminium union at the end of the fuel rail had failed, allowing fuel to spill out and catch fire.
