TALKING POINT: Bristol City lack cutting edge at Nottingham Forest

Bristol City's opening day defeat to Nottingham Forest in the Championship highlighted the need for manager Derek McInnes to sign a new striker.
McInnes decided to deploy right winger Albert Adomah just behind lone striker Jon Stead in a 4-4-1-1 formation in order to generate the kind of attacking pace that was missing against Gillingham in midweek.
But despite enjoying long spells of possession, the Robins created just one genuine goal-scoring opportunity in 90 minutes, Lee Camp making a fine save to keep out Stead's shot from the edge of the penalty area.
Well-organised and hard-working, City were ultimately undone by the one incisive move of the game, Andy Reid and Simon Cox combining to provide Adlene Guedioura with a straightforward finish from close range.
City tried to get back into the game but lacked a cutting edge on the final third and must now hope that McInnes can persuade transfer target DJ Campbell to sign ahead of Tuesday's home game against Crystal Palace.
